Summative Assignments-
- Occurs during each lesson by monitoring and evaluating student discussions and participation in lesson activities (see each lesson under the Assessment Section for further details)
- Regular review of the quality of Science Journal entries, sketches, diagrams, and work in the journal.
- Monitoring of reflective work
- Homework Assignments- Usually tracked through Science Journal
Summative Assignments-
- Ecosystem Foldables- Aquatic and Terrestrial - ( Use Quality Rubric for the Science Journal)
- Science Journal -9 weeks evaluation- (Class participation, Quality grade, and
- Explorer Project- Including Essay (may use a different set of rubrics for each component.)
